Men’s Space - Men’s Wellbeing Network
Men’s Space provides a safe space for men to relax, re-charge and reflect by enjoying energising scenery, activities and experiences, great food and even greater conversations with like-minded people.
We run regular monthly evening ‘Check In’ events in and around the Derbyshire Peak District National Park. The nature of the content, locations and activities is defined as much by you as by us. We also run weekend activity events and residential Retreats.
Men's Space is not; a clinical therapy group, a group for or against men or women, a religious group, a political group, a dating group, a selling/preaching platform or a group of anything apart from whatever those who attend make it.

Mick Earle
Mick has lived in the Peak District for about 20 years, brought here from Hertfordshire because of his passion for outdoor activities, mainly caving and walking. He's worked mostly in corporate Learning & Development training leadership and team development skills in the UK and overseas.
Mick served for 12 years in the British Army Reserve and more recently helped evolve and deliver the Army's 'decompression' programme for Counter IED (Bomb Disposal) teams returning from the war in Afghanistan.
Mick has also previously volunteered as a Leader and Incident Controller with Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation and now, wishing to make the most of the amazing activities and experiences available in Derbyshire he's teamed up with Paul Harrild to run and develop Men's Space.

Paul Harrild
Paul has been a coach and personal trainer for the past 20 years, having taught over 10,000 hours of one-on-one sessions with clients. His clients have ranged from those seeking beach body transformations to individuals dealing with health issues like Parkinson's disease.
In recent years, Paul has focused on learning the art of cooking, butchery, and knife skills to enhance his expertise and pass on his knowledge of nutrition for practical use at home.
As a stepfather to two grown-up children, Paul considers this experience as a significant lesson in facing his own challenges. Having lost his father at the age of 12 and being raised in a single-parent family, he now utilizes his life experiences to hold Dad's and Men's groups.
